Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on support with hardware setup, machine imaging, and deployment of desktops and laptops across the organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience in end-user device lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and image new laptops and desktops using standardized company images (SCCM, Intune, or other deployment tools).
• Install and update operating systems, drivers, and approved applications.
• Manage inventory of hardware, ensuring accurate asset tagging and documentation.
• Perform routine hardware repairs, upgrades, and replacements (RAM, SSD, peripherals).
• Support onboarding by preparing and distributing machines for new hires.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end-users (Windows, macOS).
• Maintain imaging scripts, documentation, and process checklists.
• Collaborate with IT team members to enforce security standards (BitLocker, encryption, endpoint protection).
• Provide hands-on support for office IT equipment (printers, monitors, docking stations).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support experience (desktop support, helpdesk, or field tech).
• Hands-on experience with Windows OS builds, deployment tools (SCCM, Intune, MDT, Ghost, etc.), and machine imaging.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and endpoint management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and set up equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with macOS imaging (Jamf, Kandji, or similar).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPNs, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
