Job Summary:

Ameriship Parcel Delivery is a medical overnight and courier delivery service in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Missouri, Florida, Colorado, Georgia, and Illinois. We are the leader in Texas for pharmacy delivery. 

Ameriship Parcel Delivery is seeking a Warehouse Sorter that reads work orders to determine which items to pick and locate within in the warehouse. Our new team member must be energetic, detail oriented, and have a good work ethic. We prefer applicants with a verifiable work history in a shipping industry. All applicants will be considered.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Use scanners to scan bar codes on products.
• Read work orders to determine which item to pick and locate products within the warehouse area.
• Compare work order information with item and batch numbers and pick the correct item.
• Physically move or transport the item to the packaging area and ensure that it is damage-free.
• Part-time delivery in our company vehicle as needed.
• Report any damages to the supervisor and replace the item by performing repacking duties.
• Ensure that all picked and labeled items are properly packed in bins according to set protocols and procedures.
• Receive incoming shipments and compare them to the associated document to ensure accuracy of order.
• Separate and batch the same types of products and arrange to have them taken to designated storage areas.
• Transport packed items to delivery pallets and assist loaders in loading and stacking them on delivery vehicles in a safe manner.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to interact with Logistics team
• Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving
• Self-Motivated and Resourceful
• Able to multi-task

Education and Experience:

• Logistics: 1 year (Preferred)
