You help set the vision for content and drive cohesive product narratives across multiple platforms and touch points. As a stellar writer, your portfolio of work demonstrates content that simplifies and beautifies the overall user experience. You work with people in a variety of UX design-related jobs including researchers, product managers, engineers, marketing and customer operations. Collaborating with each, you strive to establish cohesive language and a unified voice across products and platforms. You regularly use empathy, logic and data to inform content choices and recommendations that include the right words and sometimes complementary data and images. Google Identity and Engagement (GIE) and the User Protection team partner closely to deliver a trusted, seamless, and protected experience. GIE enables users to unlock personalized experiences and enjoy the best of Google every day, while UP ensures the Google ecosystem remains safe by building systems to block harm, prevent abuse, and verify user identity. UXers working in these spaces are part of a combined team, GIE+UP. We work both within our teams and across product areas on initiatives related to account access, identity, personalization, security, privacy, and safety, which impact virtually every Google user. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$166,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
