Job Description: Engagement Manager
Position Overview The Engagement Manager plays a critical role in managing client relationships, leading project delivery, and ensuring the successful implementation of marketing technology and data-driven solutions. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between the customer and internal teamsâbalancing project scope, budget, and timelines while delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Project Management â¢Â   Lead multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
â¢Â   Manage project financials, including forecasting, budget tracking, and resource allocation.
â¢Â   Develop project plans, milestones, and reporting dashboards to ensure transparency and accountability.
Customer Relationship Management â¢Â   Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders across business and technical domains.
â¢Â   Build long-term client trust by understanding strategic objectives and aligning deliverables to measurable outcomes.
â¢Â   Identify opportunities to expand value through additional solutions or services.
Collaboration & Leadership â¢Â   Partner cross-functionally with Solution Architects, Data Engineers, Analysts, and Customer Success teams.
â¢Â   Facilitate clear communication between technical and business teams to ensure shared understanding of priorities and expectations.
â¢Â   Lead customer workshops and executive-level status reviews.
Business Analysis & Solution Design â¢Â   Conduct functional requirements gathering sessions to capture customer goals, KPIs, and operational constraints.
â¢Â   Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and user stories.
â¢Â   Design scalable marketing technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and compliance standards.
Use Case Development â¢Â   Define and prioritize marketing use cases that drive measurable ROI.
â¢Â   Develop success metrics and track value realization throughout the project lifecycle.

ser Training & Enablement â¢Â   Lead 'train-the-trainer' programs to empower client teams on deployed solutions.
â¢Â   Create and deliver training documentation, user guides, and adoption plans.
Data & Analytics â¢Â   Analyze customer data to uncover insights and optimization opportunities.
â¢Â   Collaborate with data engineering teams on SQL-based data extraction, ETL processes, and pipeline validation.
Prioritization & Governance â¢Â   Drive backlog prioritization and sprint planning for solution enhancements.
â¢Â   Ensure all deliverables align with defined governance, compliance, and quality standards.
Qualifications Required: â¢Â   Bachelorâs degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
â¢Â   5+ years of experience managing client-facing technology projects or marketing platforms
   implementations.
â¢Â   Strong background in project management, requirements gathering, and stakeholder communication.
â¢Â   Customer Data Platform (CDPs) knowledge and experience (ex, Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe Real-   Time CDP, Oracle Unity, SAP Customer Data Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights,      etc.)Â
â¢Â   Working knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
â¢Â   Proven success in managing cross-functional teams and client engagements.
Preferred:
â¢Â   Experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, HubSpot, or similar).
â¢Â   Familiarity with AI-driven customer engagement and data visualization tools.
â¢Â   PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
