We need a Creative Video Editor who can tell stories visually and is good at editing both digital and broadcast-quality videos. The best candidate will work closely with creative teams to make interesting video content for all platforms while staying true to the brand's voice and creative direction.
Main Duties
Edit and put together raw footage into finished videos, such as marketing campaigns, corporate communications, social media clips, and promotional videos.
Work with directors, producers, and designers to understand the creative vision and make sure it fits with the brand's rules.
Add graphics, motion design, sound effects, voiceovers, and music to make the story better.
Keep track of project deadlines and make sure that assets are delivered on time while maintaining quality control and technical accuracy.
Keep backups, version control, and organized project files.
Support export and delivery in different formats that work best for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TV.
Keep up with the latest trends in video production, software, and editing.
Requirements
Experience and Education:
A bachelor's degree in film, video production, digital media, or a related field, or the same amount of practical experience.
1-3 years of professional video editing work, internships, or freelance work.
Skills and abilities:
You should be good at using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or other editing software.
A good grasp of pacing, storytelling, visual composition, and syncing audio.
Basic knowledge of sound editing, motion graphics, and color correction.
Great at paying attention to details and following directions quickly.
Good at talking to people and working with others.
You need a strong portfolio or reel that shows off your creative editing work.
Pay and Benefits
Annual Salary Range: The salary range for this job is $55,000 to $70,000, depending on how much experience you have.
