Position Overview

The Automation Engineer 2 Building Management System (BMS) provides support to the entire facility ensuring efficiency and reliability of the automated systems that monitor and control environmental conditions and utility production. This role supports senior engineers with the implementation of changes to the automation systems execution of testing and troubleshooting events and provides on-call support as needed. Initially this role supports the expansion project for the facility with the scope evolving as the project progresses.

What Youll Do

• Perform Automation activities such as code configuration document development and test execution
• Delivers accurate and on-time Automation work
• Creates standard code utilizing simple control strategies
• Assists with developing (generating reviewing maintaining) various specification documents (e.g. user requirements specification (URS) functional specification (FS) design qualification (DQ) etc.)
• Assists with developing (generating reviewing maintaining) various test protocols and functional testing documents (e.g. installation qualification (IQ) operational qualification (OQ) etc.)
• Assists with developing various test protocols and executes functional testing for documents (e.g.
• Serves as on-call support for Automation inquiries and troubleshooting
• Collaborates with other departments such as Manufacturing Maintenance and Validation
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field
• 2 years of Automation Instrumentation & Controls or other relevant technical experience

Preferred Requirements

• 3 year of Automation experience
