Accounts Receivable Specialist
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the Senior Accountant and broader finance team. This role focuses on managing receivables while also providing general accounting support to ensure smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of balancing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Monitor outstanding balances and manage collection efforts for past-due accounts.
Enter invoices accurately into customer portals.
Assist with new customer setup and perform credit evaluations.
Provide responsive support to both internal colleagues and external customers.
Contribute to the Accounts Payable process as needed.
Perform account reconciliations and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Support various accounting functions and take on additional tasks as assigned.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective time management with attention to detail.
Initiative and resourcefulness in addressing challenges.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related accounting function
