Job Description

We are currently working on an Accounting Specialist position in Dallas, Texas , with the possibility for remote work. This role offers a variety of responsibilities, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing cash transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will have experience in AP/AR, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Post daily cash receipts and reconcile bank transactions
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports
• Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger
• Maintain and update vendor and customer records
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in cash transactions
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues
• Prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role, with a focus on AP, AR, and cash posting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting is a plus
